The cooperative group La Prospérité Fermière and Ingredia have established cooperation contracts with similarly sized groups, in France and abroad, to strengthen their positions on the markets. Ingredia and its partners have a communal language and the same concerns and share close values. These common characteristics enable mutual comprehension for an abundant and balanced cooperation.
In 1988, La Prospérité Fermière and the Swiss dairy cooperative Cremo SA concluded a cooperation agreement in the form of transferring technology and know-how. In 1989, an additional step was taken with the creation of a marketing company, Lacto-Prospérité, which distributes products derived from agreements regarding the transfer of technology. Cremo has a 5% stakeholding in Ingredia. The cooperative group La Prospérité Fermière has thus strengthened its position in Europe as a supplier of dairy ingredients for the agri-foodstuffs industry.
Since 1998, the cooperative group La Prospérité Fermière and the French dairy group Lactinov, which manufactures milk, liquid cream, butter and baby products at Abbeville (80 - France), developed commercial and industrial synergies and offer turnkey solutions for finished products. A contract to this end was signed in 2012. The objective is to make the production of each group cost effective and meet client requirements even more efficiently.
In 2004, Ingredia signed a development and marketing partnership with the Australian dairy cooperative Tatura in order to strengthen its position in Asia. A new multi-year contract to this end was signed in 2012.
The partnership with Cayuga Milk Ingredients LLC, an American group of milk producers in the state of New York, will allow for the amount of powdered milk and MPC (a concentrate of milk proteins) to be increased as from 2014, with production based in America. In addition, this partnership helps strengthen group positions locally as well as globally.
